Russia strikes energy facilities in Kremenchuk
On the night of December 10–11, Kremenchuk came under attack by Russian forces using ballistic missiles and drones.
According to Volodymyr Kohut, head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, many targets were intercepted, but fires still broke out at some sites due to falling debris and direct hits.
“Air defense was operational, and a significant number of targets were shot down. However, fires broke out at the facilities due to debris and direct hits. All relevant services are working to eliminate the consequences of the attack. Fortunately, there were no casualties,” the statement reads.
It is important to note that no civilians were harmed, and emergency services are actively responding to the aftermath.
Earlier, on December 9, Russian forces targeted a fire station in the Zaporizhzhia district using an attack drone, damaging the building, windows, doors, and roof.
That same night, the Russian military conducted a series of strikes across three districts in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
