On August 18, Russian occupation forces launched a rocket-powered drone strike on an industrial facility in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. Details regarding the consequences of the attack are still being clarified.

"The enemy launched a strike with a rocket-powered UAV (the type of UAV is being determined by experts) against an industrial facility in the city," the statement reads.
No one was injured as a result of the strike.
Everyone was in shelters.
An emergency rescue operation is currently underway.
This was reported by Oleksandr Vilkul, chairman of the city’s Defense Council.
Earlier, the Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated Russian occupier Berik Dautov, who had previously fought as part of the Wagner Group and held the title of Master of Sports in Greco-Roman wrestling. According to available information, he was killed on July 23, 2026, during combat operations in the Donetsk region.
Ukrainian troops eliminated 52-year-old Russian occupier Andriy Yaroslavtsev, who had worked as a coach before participating in the war against Ukraine. He was the coach of two Russian Olympic champions.
