Russians struck Izyum with cluster munitions; there are casualties
On August 7, Russian occupation forces launched a cluster munitions strike on the city of Izyum in the Kharkiv region. The attack resulted in fatalities, and four more people were injured, according to Oleg Synyegubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration.
Two people were killed in the enemy attack. At least four others were injured, and medical teams provided the necessary assistance to all the victims.
A large fire broke out at the site of the strike, covering an area of about 400 square meters. The State Emergency Service confirmed that the strike was carried out using cluster munitions. Rescue teams are currently working to address the aftermath of the shelling.
