Russian troops have begun using "Lancet" loitering munitions in complete radio silence to ensure maximum concealment while approaching their targets.
This was reported on his Telegram channel by Serhiy “Flash” Beskrestnov, a renowned communications systems expert and advisor to the Ukrainian Minister of Defense.
The enemy’s updated tactics are designed to prevent Ukrainian electronic intelligence units from detecting the threat in time.
The invaders’ new approach significantly complicates the work of domestic early warning systems and air defense assets.
The absence of a radio signal makes it impossible to quickly determine the aircraft’s flight path before it begins its actual dive.
"On various fronts, we are observing that 'Lancets' operate in complete radio silence until the moment of attack. The enemy does this intentionally so that we cannot identify the type of UAV, recognize the threat, and respond to it," Flash reported.
Currently, Ukrainian experts and military engineers are conducting a detailed analysis of the technical algorithms that allow the drones to fly without constant communication with the command post.
