The Russians carried out 37 strikes on the Sumy region; two children were among the casualties
Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops attacked 23 settlements in the Sumy region, carrying out 37 strikes. Seven people were injured as a result of the shelling, including two children.
The enemy used guided aerial bombs, attack and FPV drones, mortars, and artillery.
The Sumy, Shostka, Okhtyrka, and Konotop districts came under attack.
In the Sumy community, an 18-year-old man was injured when a Russian drone struck. Additionally, a 26-year-old woman and a 73-year-old woman, who were injured in a drone attack on July 20, sought medical attention.
In addition, two children received medical care: an 8-month-old girl who was injured on July 19 by an enemy drone strike, and a 12-year-old boy who was injured on July 15 by a guided aerial bomb.
In the Bilopil community, a 76-year-old man and a 77-year-old woman, who were injured by an enemy drone strike on July 20, sought treatment at a medical facility.
In some areas of the Sumy region, residential buildings, vehicles, and infrastructure were also damaged.
Police investigative and operational teams are working at the sites of the attacks.
Investigators have opened criminal cases under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine for all instances of war crimes.
