Russians destroy Volodymyr Ostapchuk’s house in Kyiv
During another nightly attack on the capital, Russian forces struck a house that belonged to the former couple — TV presenter Volodymyr Ostapchuk and notary Khrystyna Hornyak.
This was reported with reference to Khrystyna Hornyak’s social media posts.
As a result of the strike, the building was completely destroyed. Previously, the former couple had long struggled to settle issues regarding the division of this shared property after their divorce.
Photos of the aftermath of the attack have already appeared online.
According to Khrystyna Hornyak, there were no casualties from the Russian shelling in the cottage community where she had her house. At the same time, the home of Volodymyr Ostapchuk’s ex-wife was destroyed.

"The only thing I can say is that money is not worth human life, which the war takes away. I am very sad, but I cannot change anything. We can only accept the consequences. In our cottage community, everyone is alive, and people are the most valuable. I haven’t seen the house, but they say it was badly damaged. Then this story was meant to end this way,"wrote Khrystyna Hornyak.

Hornyak said the news is difficult for her because she had invested a lot of money, effort, and love into this house. However, she is glad that no one was home at the time of the attack. "But we all live in the reality of war, where attacks happen every day not only at the front but also in the rear. People die every day, and the thing I am most thankful to God for right now is that no one was living in this house!" she added.

Details of the incident were shared by Volodymyr Ostapchuk’s current wife, Kateryna Poltavska (Ostapchuk). In addition, Ostapchuk showed footage of the destroyed house.

"Unfortunately, it’s not just the windows — they’re gone throughout the house. The street behind this house is a mess. The gates were also destroyed. Police are everywhere. We drove up to them; they followed us to the house. All the damage needs to be documented," said the presenter’s wife.

The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) has named new priority targets for Russian missile attacks.
Earlier, air defense shot down 105 enemy drones during the nightly attack.
Also, the number of casualties from the Russian attack in Kyiv region has risen to 15 people.
