The Russians struck Izyum again; a 9-year-old child was injured
On August 18, Russian troops attacked Izyum in the Kharkiv region. Civilians were injured in the attack, including a 9-year-old child, and emergency services are on the scene.
This was reported by Oleg Synyegubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration.
“Five people, including a 9-year-old boy, were injured as a result of the enemy attack on the city of Izyum. All are receiving medical care,” the statement said.

According to the head of the Regional State Administration, five private homes in the city were damaged. Specialized services are addressing the aftermath of the attack.

As a reminder, air defense systems were activated in the Kyiv region due to a Russian attack.
Earlier, Ukraine certified the long-range “Dovbush T40” unmanned aerial vehicle.
