Russian army attacks 35 settlements in Kherson region: one killed, several injured
Over the past 24 hours, Russian occupation forces carried out massive combined shelling of the right bank of Kherson region, killing one person.
This was reported by the National Police of Ukraine.
Residential neighborhoods and civilian infrastructure in 35 settlements across the region came under fire.
Enemy attacks caused significant destruction: 27 civilian sites were damaged, including six multi-story apartment buildings and 15 private houses. A shop and five civilian vehicles were also hit by the shelling.
The occupiers continue to use artillery and other types of weapons to terrorize civilians in frontline areas.
The village of Dariivka suffered a particularly heavy artillery strike, where four local residents were injured in the attack. The wounded include a 49-year-old man and three women aged 45, 47, and 52.
Medics provided the victims with the necessary assistance, and their condition is currently being monitored by doctors.
Shelling of the regional center, Kherson, also continued. In the Dnipro District, Kherson, artillery fire injured a 38-year-old man and a 46-year-old woman.
The Korabelnyi District, Kherson of the city also came under enemy fire. Three people were reported injured there: a 57-year-old man, a 65-year-old woman, and a 16-year-old boy.
Fortunately, the teenager’s life is not currently in danger, although the psychological and physical condition of all the injured remains serious.
Earlier, Russian forces attacked energy infrastructure in Sumy region, leaving parts of the region without electricity.
Russian drones also struck an industrial facility in Poltava region.
