Russian attacks in Zaporizhzhia region: man injured, dozens of homes damaged (photos)
An 88-year-old man was injured during overnight attacks by Russian forces in the Zaporizhzhia region. Over the past day, the enemy carried out hundreds of strikes on peaceful settlements, damaging dozens of homes. This was reported by the regional press service of the National Police.
According to regional authorities, the occupiers launched 464 drones (mostly FPV), used multiple-launch rocket systems four times, conducted 299 artillery strikes, and carried out nine airstrikes. In total, during the day the enemy attacked 23 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Under fire were: Veselyanka, Hryhorivka, Chervonodniprovka, Rozumivka, Mariivka, Stepnohirsk, Stepove Prymorske, Shcherbaky, Huliaipole, Orikhiv, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Preobrazhenka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Bilohiria, Zelene, Zatyshshia, Varvarivka, Pryluky, Ternuvate, and Staroukrainka.
Police received 34 reports of damage to private and multi-apartment houses, as well as surrounding household areas. Law enforcement evacuated five men and four women from frontline districts, urging other residents to seek safer locations.
Additionally, overnight Russian forces carried out massive strikes on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. Consumers in Vinnytsia, Dnipro, Donetsk, and Odesa regions were left without power.
