Russian drones are disrupting the evacuation of people in the Donetsk region

In the Donetsk region, due to the widespread use of Russian FPV drones, humanitarian teams are not always able to reach residents awaiting evacuation. Yevgen Tkachov, a representative of the “Proliska” humanitarian mission, reported that the team has already come under attack about 100 times during its operations, with roughly half of those attacks specifically targeting the volunteers.

Risk assessments are conducted directly along the route: if volunteers see recently destroyed vehicles along the road, they are forced to cancel the evacuation to avoid putting people and the crew in mortal danger. In cases where the route becomes too dangerous for civilian vehicles, “White Angel” police crews are called in to transport people to safer transfer points.

This was reported by Suspilne.

The Sumy Regional Defense Council has decided to evacuate 543 people from eight settlements. These are the Yunakivska and Myropilska communities.

During a briefing, Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, announced that, by decision of the Regional Defense Council, the villages of Krasnosilske and Charivne in the Borozenska community had been added to the list of settlements subject to mandatory evacuation.
