Russian occupiers strike school in Zaporizhzhia with “Molniya” drone
Russian terrorists attacked Zaporizhzhia using a “Molniya” UAV, hitting a school, according to the Zaporizhzhia Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
“According to the investigation, on December 18, 2025, at 04:20 p.m., Russian forces struck the school building in one of Zaporizhzhia’s residential districts. Preliminary reports indicate the enemy used a UAV of the ‘Molniya’ type,” the statement reads.
The attack damaged the school’s facade, shattering windows and doors. Educational activities were not taking place at the time, and no children were harmed. Information regarding other victims is being clarified.

Immediate investigative actions are underway. Under the procedural guidance of Zaporizhzhia prosecutors, a criminal investigation has been launched on the grounds of a war crime (Part 1, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by the investigative division of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) in Zaporizhzhia region.
On December 18, 2025, around 04:00 p.m. , Russian forces carried out a cynical attack on civilian infrastructure in Odesa region. They also attacked Dnipropetrovsk region with FPV drones and artillery, and launched a new missile strike on Zaporizhzhia.
