Russian strikes on the Dnipropetrovsk region have injured 12 people
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, Russian troops carried out nearly forty attacks on several districts of the region throughout the day, using drones and artillery. Twelve people were injured in the shelling, including six children. Some of the victims are in critical condition. This was reported by the head of the regional military administration, Oleksandr Hanzha, on Telegram.
Over the course of a single day, the Russian army launched massive strikes on the Nikopol, Synelnykivskyi, and Pavlohrad districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region, carrying out about forty attacks using drones and artillery, which led to significant destruction of civilian infrastructure and a large number of casualties among the civilian population.
The Nikopol district was hit hardest by the attacks, with several communities coming under fire at once, including Nikopol, Marganetsk, Chervonohryhorivka, Pokrovsk, and Myrivka, As a result of the strikes, residential buildings, businesses, vehicles, and infrastructure were damaged, and ten people were injured, including six children aged 1, 4, 8, 10, 13, and 14, who are currently receiving outpatient treatment along with some of the adults.
Two adults—a man and a woman aged 46 and 56—were hospitalized; doctors assess the man’s condition as critical, indicating the severity of the injuries sustained during the shelling. In the Synelnykivskyi district, the town of Synelnykove was hit, where private homes and cars were damaged, and two women aged 70 and 89 were injured; the older of the two was also hospitalized in serious condition.
In the Pavlohrad district, Russian troops attacked the Ternivska community, continuing a series of strikes on civilian areas in the region, which once again resulted in injuries among civilians and the destruction of residential and social infrastructure.
In the Zaporizhzhia region, two women were injured as a result of Russian attacks on May 28. According to the Regional Military Administration, over the course of the day, occupying forces carried out 689 strikes on 40 settlements in the region. Women aged 58 and 65 were injured.
On the night of May 28, Russian occupiers carried out another attack with strike drones on the southern part of the Odesa region. A private residential building and an infrastructure facility were damaged as a result of the enemy shelling.
In Kherson, a woman was injured as a result of another Russian shelling of the Korabelny district. She was hospitalized in serious condition.
Over the past day, 13 civilians were injured due to Russian attacks in the Sumy region. Dozens of settlements in the region came under fire, and Russian drones attacked civilian vehicles, homes, and farms.
