The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine reported that as a result of Russian strikes on the country’s energy system, consumers have been left without electricity in the city of Kyiv, as well as in Kyiv and Chernihiv regions.
This was announced by the Ministry of Energy on Telegram.

“Since nighttime, a massive Russian strike on Ukraine’s energy system has been ongoing. As a result, consumers in the city of Kyiv, Kyiv region, and Chernihiv region have been de-energized,” the statement said.

Rescue workers and energy specialists have already begun preparations to eliminate the consequences of the attack and restore power supply as soon as the security situation allows.

Over the past day, the enemy also carried out combined strikes on the industrial and port infrastructure of Odesa region.

In Kyiv, the number of people injured as a result of the Russian attack has increased to 11, including two children.

The Russian terrorist attack on Kyiv lasted almost the entire night. As a result of the shelling, damage was recorded at multiple locations across seven districts of the capital.

Earlier, as of the morning of December 27, eight people were reported injured in Kyiv due to the Russian attack.

On the night of December 27, Russian forces launched a massive strike on Kyiv, using various types of missiles and attack drones, which led to numerous casualties and damage in various districts of the city.

On the morning of December 27, during a combined Russian attack on Kyiv, a Shahed drone hit a dormitory of the National Aviation University in the Solomianskyi district of the capital.
