Russian troops attacked Kryvyi Rih twice this morning
On the morning of March 23, 2026, Russian occupation forces carried out a series of attacks on Kryvyi Rih in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, reported on the consequences of the shelling.
As a result of the enemy strikes, a fire broke out in the city, civilians were injured, and high-rise buildings were damaged.
“The enemy struck Kryvyi Rih. Two people were wounded. A fire broke out due to the enemy attack,” the head of the Regional Military Administration noted in his official report.
Emergency services quickly arrived at the scene and managed to extinguish the fire. It is known that two men, aged 31 and 58, sustained injuries of varying severity; medical personnel are currently providing them with all necessary care.
Almost immediately after the first strike, the invaders attacked the city a second time, using strike drones.
This time, the Metallurgical District of the city came under fire, where damage to several apartment buildings has been reported.
The exact number of damaged apartments and the extent of the destruction are currently being assessed by experts on the ground.
Authorities are urging residents to remain in shelters until the air raid siren stops, as the threat of further strikes persists.
As a reminder, a Russian drone attacked a car in the Sumy region, injuring teenagers.
Russian troops also launched a massive attack on the Dnipropetrovsk region.
