The Ukrainian Armed Forces have carried out a series of strikes against the Russian military’s infrastructure, both in the temporarily occupied territories and within the Russian Federation. Among the targets hit were radar stations, command posts, and warehouses.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.
Yesterday and overnight on April 17, units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck:
- the “Podlot” and “Nebo-M” radar stations
- command and observation posts and UAV control centers
- a storage facility for assault boats in Crimea
- weapons repair and maintenance bases
- logistics hubs and ammunition depots
- fuel and lubricant depots and military transport vehicles
Geography of strikes:
- Luhansk Oblast (TOT)
- Donetsk Oblast (TOO)
- Kherson Oblast (TOO)
- Zaporizhzhia Oblast (TOU)
- Crimea
- Belgorod and Rostov Regions of the Russian Federation
In particular, strikes on the "Nebo-M" radar station in the Belgorod Oblast of the Russian Federation and the "Podlot" radar station in the Rostov Oblast of the Russian Federation have been confirmed
There are also reports of strikes on UAV control centers in areas of the Kursk Oblast and the occupied territories of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
Enemy casualties and the extent of the damage are being clarified.
In addition, explosions were heard again in the temporarily occupied Crimea on the evening of April 16 and overnight on April 17.
A fire broke out in Tuapse, Russia, following strikes on an oil refinery and port infrastructure. According to Ukrainian sources, sections of pipelines, oil loading stands, and part of the terminal connected to the refinery were damaged. The extent of the damage is being assessed, but a fire has been confirmed at the site. This was reported by the SBU.
