Russian troops are evacuating families from occupied Crimea
Russian invaders are gradually evacuating the families of their military personnel from the temporarily occupied Crimea to Novorossiysk.
The main reasons for this decision are critical logistical problems, constant danger, and a catastrophic fuel shortage on the peninsula.
A significant portion of the Russian occupiers’ families have already left the peninsula and moved closer to the Krasnodar Krai of the Russian Federation. They are choosing cities near Novorossiysk, where the remnants of the Russian Black Sea Fleet are currently based.
Pletenchuk emphasized that the enemy’s logistics situation should be assessed dynamically, but the invaders’ land corridor is already under serious threat.
Currently, the occupiers’ rail and road routes are regularly coming under fire from the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
“I wouldn’t draw any conclusions just yet, but the picture is already clear, and it shows that moving along the Azov coast—that is, through the occupied parts of the Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, and Donetsk regions—is dangerous. Well, that’s the bare minimum,” noted Dmytro Pletenchuk.
He also added that difficulties in using the so-called “Novorossiya” route will eventually lead to large-scale infrastructure problems.
This will significantly impact not only civilian life and food supplies in Crimea itself but will also paralyze the supply of fuel and ammunition to enemy units.
Russian combat groups defending the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia sectors will be hit the hardest.
Dmytro Pletenchuk, spokesperson for the Ukrainian Navy, spoke about this on the Apostrophe TV channel.
