Invaders attacked a residential area in Shostka; a woman and a child were injured
Russian invaders carried out yet another act of terror against civilian infrastructure in the Sumy region, attacking a residential neighborhood in the city of Shostka.
As a result of the enemy strike, two local residents sustained injuries of varying severity.
Emergency rescue operations were immediately launched at the scene to address the consequences of the enemy shelling.
Emergency service specialists immediately arrived at the scene to conduct reconnaissance and assist the population.
“A residential area of the city of Shostka was attacked. Rescuers surveyed the area and extinguished the identified fires,” the rescue report states.
The enemy attack caused a serious blast wave that inflicted significant damage on surrounding buildings in Shostka. In particular, windows were blown out and the glazing was completely damaged in a four-story apartment building.
Employees of the State Emergency Service carried out initial emergency repair work as quickly as possible to secure the damaged building.
