A Russian drone attacked a gas station on the outskirts of Sumy; three people were injured
On the morning of Wednesday, June 24, Russian occupation forces carried out yet another terrorist attack, striking a gas station on the outskirts of Sumy with a drone.
As a result of the attack, three civilians who were on the premises at the time of the strike were injured.
Emergency services and ambulance crews arrived at the scene promptly.
Medical personnel immediately began examining the victims and are providing them with all necessary care either on-site or at specialized medical facilities.
According to preliminary information from the head of the Regional Military Administration, the injuries sustained by the civilians are not severe, which minimizes the threat to their lives.
In addition to injuries to people, the explosion of a Russian drone caused destruction and significant property damage. In particular, debris and the blast wave seriously damaged vehicles that were parked nearby or refueling at the gas station.
Law enforcement and rescue workers continue to operate at the gas station to address the aftermath of the attack and document yet another crime committed by the Russian Federation.
Regional authorities emphasize that this attack is not an isolated incident but part of a targeted campaign by the enemy against the region’s fuel sector.
The Russian army is deliberately attempting to destabilize the situation by targeting locations where there are always large numbers of people and vehicles.
