A Russian drone attacked the center of Kharkiv
This afternoon, Russian occupation forces carried out yet another act of terror against the civilian population of Kharkiv, attacking the Shevchenkivskyi district with a strike drone.
The enemy drone crashed right in the middle of one of the city’s central streets, resulting in tragic consequences and significant damage.
Oleg Synyegubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported that seven people were injured as a result of the attack.
The most severe injuries were sustained by civilians who were in their own cars driving through the city center at the time of the explosion.
Unfortunately, despite the efforts of medical personnel, the death toll rose to two. First, a man in his 60s died in the hospital, and later it was reported that a 29-year-old woman had died, her injuries proving too severe.
The condition of a two-year-old girl required special attention; doctors diagnosed her with an acute stress reaction following the shelling.
Currently, three of the injured are in critical condition, and specialists continue to fight to save their lives.
The blast wave damaged the windows of two medical facilities located near the impact site. At least four civilian vehicles caught in the blast’s epicenter also sustained serious mechanical damage.
The head of the Regional Military Administration emphasized that this is the third consecutive day that the enemy has been launching massive attacks on the city using strike drones.
As a reminder, Russian forces attacked the territory of the NVMC.
