A Russian drone struck a gas station in Zaporizhzhia
On the night of June 27, a Russian drone attacked a gas station in Zaporizhzhia. A fire broke out after the strike, but there were no fatalities or injuries.
Russian troops launched a drone strike overnight on one of the gas stations in Zaporizhzhia. This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. As a result of the attack, a gas tank caught fire, as did the gas station’s administrative building. Thick smoke rose above the site of the strike due to the fire. “A UAV attacked one of the city’s gas stations. As a result of the strike, a gas tank and the administrative building caught fire,” the State Emergency Service reported.
Rescue workers quickly arrived at the scene. They swiftly contained and extinguished the fire, preventing it from spreading to other structures. The fire covered an area of about 30 square meters. All necessary emergency services in the city were mobilized to deal with the aftermath of the attack.
According to preliminary information, no one was killed or injured as a result of the strike. “There are no fatalities or injuries,” the rescue workers noted. Law enforcement and relevant agencies are working at the site of the strike, documenting the consequences of the Russian attack and the damage caused.
Russian troops carried out 924 strikes on the Zaporizhzhia region over the past 24 hours. Forty-two settlements came under fire. According to the regional military administration, one person was killed and 29 others were wounded, including three children.
