Russian assault on motorcycles near Zaporizhzhia failed: 26 occupiers were eliminated
Russian troops carried out an unsuccessful assault near the village of Mala Tokmachka in the Zaporizhzhia sector, suffering significant losses in personnel and equipment.
According to military sources, on June 16, the occupiers attacked Ukrainian positions on more than 30 motorcycles, advancing along three routes simultaneously. Some of the vehicles were equipped with mine-clearing devices and mobile electronic warfare systems.
Despite this, Ukrainian defenders repelled the assault. As a result of the battle, 26 Russian soldiers were killed, and more than ten others were seriously wounded.
The Defense Forces also destroyed more than 20 enemy motorcycles and up to 10 ATVs.
The brigade noted that the Russian side is not evacuating the wounded.
