Intelligence names Russian companies producing drones
The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine has released information about 21 Russian enterprises involved in the development and production of unmanned systems. Russia uses this equipment in its war against Ukraine.
This was reported by GUR on Facebook.
The data was published in the “Aggressor’s Military-Industrial Complex” section of the War&Sanctions portal.
The update includes, in particular: Digital Development Agency LLC – developer and manufacturer of the “Svarog” line of cargo drones, used by enemy naval infantry units to supply Russian forces on islands in the Dnipro delta in Kherson region; enterprises of the Aero-Hit Group – developer and manufacturer of FPV drones “Veles”, owned by the so-called Russian senator from temporarily occupied Kherson, Konstantin Basyuk, and receiving state funding from the Russian budget; KB “Microb” – developer of the eponymous series of FPV drones; and AT “Ploshchad”, which creates autopilot and machine vision systems for them.
Part of the published information was provided by participants of the international War&Sanctions hackathon held by GUR last year.
The published enterprises should be included in the “blacklists” of responsible business, financial institutions, and export control in free countries, GUR emphasised. More than half of them are still not under sanctions by any country of the sanctions coalition, allowing Russia to freely obtain technologies, components, and funding.
Sanction pressure on the aggressor and control over compliance with the sanctions regime need to be increased. The experience that the Russian army and arms manufacturers are gaining today on the battlefield in Ukraine may tomorrow be used by Russia and its allies—Iran and North Korea—in new wars against the civilised world, GUR stressed.
Russia is strengthening control over communications networks, according to intelligence.
It is recalled that Russia is promoting a new scenario about the loss of Odesa and Kharkiv. Also, in occupied Mariupol, the Russians are destroying sites of mass civilian burials.
