Sibiga responded to the crash of a Russian drone in Moldova

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga commented on the crash of a Russian drone in Moldova during the Russian Federation’s massive nighttime attack on Ukraine. According to him, the incident once again demonstrates that Russian aggression poses a threat not only to Ukraine but also to the security of the entire region.

“We express our full support for our Moldovan friends and note their consistent condemnation of Russian aggression. This incident clearly demonstrates that Moscow poses a threat not only to Ukraine but also to the entire region and Europe as a whole,” the statement reads.

Sibiga emphasized: “Collective pressure on Russia must be intensified so that the Kremlin finally takes a sober look at the situation and recognizes that it will never achieve its goals on the battlefield—and therefore the only way forward for Putin is to end this war.”
