Wildberries has removed the search for military goods following requests from the Special Military Operation
The Russian marketplace Wildberries no longer displays military goods in response to direct search queries related to the war against Ukraine. At the same time, these products—including tactical gear and military-grade items—remain available on the platform when searched for using other keywords.
According to journalists, Wildberries previously displayed military-themed products to users in response to search queries such as “everything for the SVO” or simply “SVO.” Among these items were helmets, body armor, ammunition, and other gear. However, a significant portion of the offerings were souvenirs.
Currently, these search terms yield no results on the marketplace’s website. However, military goods have not disappeared from the platform entirely.
Journalists note that such gear can be found using different search terms. For example, searches for “SVO goods” or “items for SVO” bring up military first-aid kits, backpacks, walkie-talkies, insignia, flags, and other paraphernalia.
In addition, tactical body armor remains available on Wildberries; when users search for it, the platform displays thousands of listings. The marketplace also sells FPV drones and related accessories.
As noted by “Dozhd,” there was no official section titled “Everything for the Special Military Operation” on Wildberries. However, as recently as late May, the site did indeed offer military-related products in response to such a search query.
The reasons for the change in Wildberries’ search functionality are currently unknown. The company has not announced any restrictions or policy changes regarding military products.

As a reminder, Ukrainian drones struck six Wildberries warehouses in Russia and Crimea.
