Unmanned aerial systems struck more than 2,000 Russian targets in the past 24 hours
Units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces struck or destroyed 2,034 enemy targets over the past 24 hours. Among the equipment and personnel struck were more than 550 occupiers and 16 artillery systems.
Among the targets struck were:
- 564 personnel, of whom 282 were killed;
- 53 drone launch sites;
- 22 radar stations, electronic reconnaissance stations, electronic warfare systems, and communications equipment;
- 136 vehicles;
- 16 artillery systems;
- 401 enemy unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the “copter,” “wing,” “Shahed,” and “Gerbera” types.
Since the beginning of September (September 1–16), units of the SBS group have struck 33,085 enemy targets, 6,844 of which were enemy personnel.
On Thursday, September 17, Russian troops struck the Slobidskyi district of Kharkiv. According to preliminary reports, a shopping center was the target of the attack.
Russia once again launched a rocket-powered drone at Kyiv. Explosions were heard in the capital after an air raid alert was issued.
Overnight and in the morning, Russian troops carried out further strikes on Kyiv’s civilian infrastructure. Damage from the attack was reported at more than 10 locations. As of 8:00 a.m., 16 people were reported injured, including two children.
As a result of the Russian strike on Kyiv, 16 people were injured, including two children. The attack damaged residential buildings, educational institutions, and a railroad track.
