HUR forces burned Su-27 and Su-30 fighter jets at an airfield in Lipetsk: video of the operation released
The Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has released a video of a special operation carried out at a military airfield near Lipetsk in Russia, during which two combat aircraft were destroyed.
The aircraft in question were Su-27 and Su-30 fighter jets with tail numbers “12” and “82,” which Russia had been using in the war against Ukraine.
The released footage shows a fire inside an авиаtion hangar and the aftermath of the strike on Russian military aviation equipment.
The HUR reported that the operation was conducted with the participation of a representative of the resistance movement operating on Russian territory and opposing the current regime. Thanks to his direct involvement and the coordinated work of Ukrainian intelligence, both aircraft were put out of action.
According to preliminary estimates, the total value of the destroyed fighter jets may reach up to USD 100 million, inflicting significant material losses on the enemy.
Preparation for the special operation at the airfield near Lipetsk lasted about two weeks. Intelligence officers carefully studied security patrol routes, guard shift schedules, and the specific operational режим of the military facility.
