Defence Forces eliminate Russian occupier and Master of Sport Oleksandr Chepikov
Ukraine’s Defence Forces have eliminated Russian occupier Oleksandr Chepikov.
This was reported by servicemen on social media.
Oleksandr Chepikov was a Master of Sport of International Class in weightlifting.
His main sporting achievements included:
- Russian Weightlifting Championship 2010 – bronze medal
- Russian Junior Championship 2012 – gold medal
- European Youth Championship 2012 – silver medal
- Russian Weightlifting Championship 2013 – silver medal
- Russian Weightlifting Championship 2016 – bronze medal
At present, Russian propaganda outlets have not reported the date or details of Chepikov’s death.
The total combat losses of Russian forces since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine — from 24 February 2022 to 3 March 2026 — amount to approximately 1,268,520 personnel. A further 790 occupiers were eliminated over the past day.
The Defence Forces also struck a space communications centre and enemy air defence facilities.
Powerful explosions were previously reported at the Belbek Airfield in Crimea.
In addition, drones attacked the Ilsky oil refinery and Sevastopol.
