Defense forces have repelled 34 assaults by the aggressor in the Pokrovsk direction

Ukrainian defenders continue to repel a large-scale offensive by Russian occupation forces, which engaged in 168 combat clashes across various sections of the front over the past 24 hours.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Despite enormous pressure and the enemy’s use of aviation, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are holding their ground and inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment on the invaders.

The aggressor’s greatest activity is traditionally observed in the Pokrovsk direction, where the situation remains extremely tense.

“Our defenders repelled 34 assault operations by the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Toretsk, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Hryshyne, Pokrovsk, Filiya, Udachne, Molodetske, and toward the settlements of Novooleksandrivka and Svitle,” the report states.

Over the past 24 hours, the enemy has actively employed its entire arsenal of weapons to strike Ukrainian Armed Forces positions and civilian towns.

The occupiers carried out one missile strike, 75 air raids using 255 guided bombs, and deployed a record number of kamikaze drones—over 9,000 units.

Border and frontline areas in the Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions were subjected to airstrikes.

In particular, settlements such as Bachivsk, Pokrovske, Oleksandrivka, Orikhiv, and Huliaipilske came under fire, where extensive infrastructure damage was recorded.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, the enemy army carried out 17 assault attempts near Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, and Sofiivka.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, active offensive operations toward Novopavlivka were also recorded, but all were detected in time and suppressed by Ukrainian artillery fire.

High-intensity fighting continues in the Huliaipole sector, where 18 attacks by the occupiers took place over the past 24 hours.

The enemy attempted to advance in the areas of the settlements of Zaliznychne, Varvarivka, and Sviatopetrivka, but encountered resolute resistance from territorial defense units and paratroopers.

In response to the enemy’s aggression, the Ukrainian Air Force and missile forces delivered a series of precision strikes on the occupiers’ rear positions.

Six areas where personnel were concentrated, a drone control center, and an invaders’ command and observation post were struck.

In the Dnipro direction, Ukrainian units successfully repelled an attack near Bilohrudy Island, preventing the enemy from establishing a foothold on new lines.

Fighting also continues in the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, where the enemy carried out 85 attacks on Ukrainian positions over the past 24 hours.

As a reminder, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have denied reports of the loss of the villages of Platonivka and Minkivka in the Donetsk region.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine also stated that Russian forces have not advanced in Vovchansk and Synkivka.
