Ukrainian defense forces destroyed a Russian fuel train in the Luhansk region – video

SBU personnel, together with soldiers from the 1st Separate Center for Unmanned Systems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, destroyed an occupiers’ train carrying petroleum products in the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk Oblast.

According to a report by the 3rd Directorate of the SBU Main Directorate in Donetsk and Luhansk regions on March 26, the train was detected during a reconnaissance operation at one of the stations. The target’s coordinates were promptly relayed to Ukrainian Armed Forces units, which delivered a precision strike using drones.

The attack on the rail tank cars caused a massive fire, confirmed by NASA satellite monitoring data. The operation was part of the Defense Forces’ systematic efforts to destroy Russian logistics chains and undermine the aggressor’s military potential in the occupied territories. An assessment of the extent of the occupying forces’ losses in fuel and lubricants is currently underway. SBU officials emphasized the continuation of active efforts to identify and strike strategic enemy logistics targets.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces struck Russian military targets on the night of March 26. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrainian troops struck a Tor-M1 anti-aircraft missile system near Novopskov in the temporarily occupied Luhansk region, as well as ammunition depots in Makedonivka and Buryakova Balka in the Donetsk region.

Additionally, the General Staff confirmed the destruction of the Kirish Oil Refinery in the Leningrad region.
