Ukraine’s Defence Forces strike an oil depot and Russian military facilities
On the night of 6 January, units of the Defence Forces of Ukraine carried out a strike on the “Gerkon Plus” oil depot in the area of Striletski Khutory, Lipetsk region, Russian Federation. As a result of the attack, explosions and a fire were recorded; the extent of the damage is being clarified.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In addition, enemy unmanned aerial vehicle control points were hit in Pokrovsk (Donetsk region), Valetovka (Kursk region) and Graivoron (Belgorod region), as well as a 9S32 radar station of the S-300V surface-to-air missile system near Novoyanisol, in the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region.
A strike was also carried out on an area where enemy manpower was concentrated in Staroselye (Belgorod region, Russian Federation). The targets were hit and losses are being уточнені.
The Defence Forces continue the systematic weakening of the military and economic potential and offensive capabilities of the Russian occupying forces by striking facilities involved in the aggression against Ukraine.
After a drone attack in Lipetsk region, Russian Federation, an oil depot caught fire.
It is recalled that Moscow has also come under drone attack.
