Ukrainian defense forces repelled more than 250 enemy assaults over the past 24 hours
Over the past day, Ukrainian defenders have held off a powerful offensive by Russian occupation forces, repelling 259 combat engagements along the entire front line.
The most intense fighting was reported in the Pokrovsk sector, where our troops successfully thwarted dozens of breakthrough attempts.
The military continues to resolutely repel the enemy’s attempts to advance deeper into our territory, inflicting effective fire damage on them.
Over the past 24 hours, the Russian army launched large-scale strikes against the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and civilian settlements. According to updated information, yesterday the enemy carried out 76 airstrikes, dropping 243 guided bombs.
In addition, it deployed 9,921 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,958 attacks on populated areas and our troops’ positions, including 59 using multiple launch rocket systems.
In response to enemy activity, Ukrainian aviation, missile, and artillery units launched powerful counterattacks against the invaders’ rear positions.
Over the past day, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile forces, and artillery struck 17 areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, four artillery systems, and two UAV command posts.
The fiercest defensive battles unfolded simultaneously in several key sectors of the eastern and southern fronts.
In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders repelled 34 assault operations by the aggressor in the areas around the settlements of Novooleksandrivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Rodynske, and Sofiivka, as well as toward the settlements of Bilytske, Dorozhne, Novyi Donbas, Shevchenko, Serhiivka, Muravka, Vilne, and Novopavlivka.
Meanwhile, in the Lyman sector, the enemy attempted 22 times to breach our defenses in the areas around the settlements of Derylove, Zarichne, Novomykhailivka, and Novoselivka, as well as toward Drobyshove, Ozernoye, Shyikivka, Lyman, and Dibrova.
The occupiers were particularly active in the Kostiantynivka sector, carrying out 19 attacks near the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Ivanopillia, Rusyn Yar, and Stepanivka, as well as toward Novopavlivka.
In the Sloviansk direction, the enemy launched 11 assaults toward the settlements of Rai-Oleksandrivka, Kryva Luka, and in the Zakytne area.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, the enemy attacked the positions of our units ten times in the areas around the settlements of Lyman and Vovchansk, as well as toward the settlements of Pokalyane, Izbytske, Okhrimivka, and Odradne.
In the Kupiansk direction, our defenders repelled five enemy attempts to advance toward the settlements of Novoplatonivka and Kurylivka.
In the Orikhiv sector, our defenders repelled four enemy attempts to advance in the area of Malaya Tokmachka and toward Lukyanivskyi.
Meanwhile, in the Kramatorsk and Dnipro sectors, the enemy did not conduct any offensive operations, instead attempting to replenish its lost resources.
