Defence Forces repel 103 enemy attacks
Over the past 24 hours, 103 combat engagements between Ukraine’s Defence Forces and Russian troops were recorded along the entire front line.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The most intense fighting continues in the Pokrovsk sector and in the Huliaipole area.
According to updated data, the enemy carried out 99 air strikes and dropped 227 guided aerial bombs.
Russian forces also used 7,462 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,838 attacks on Ukrainian positions and settlements, including 74 strikes using multiple launch rocket systems.
The highest number of air strikes was recorded on settlements in Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions, including Velyka Mykhailivka, Zaliznychne, Charivne, Kopani, Rizdvyianka, Vozdvyzhivka and Yurkivka.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, the enemy carried out six air strikes using 11 guided bombs and opened fire 77 times, including one attack with multiple launch rocket systems.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, the occupiers launched five assaults on Ukrainian positions near Prylipka, Vovchansk, Dvorichanske and towards Lyman.
In the Kupiansk sector, Ukrainian troops repelled two attacks towards Petropavlivka, while in the Lyman sector they repelled three attacks, including near Drobysheve and Lyman.
In the area of Platonivka and Yampil, in the Sloviansk sector, the enemy made two unsuccessful attempts to break through Ukrainian defences. One combat engagement was recorded near the town of Chasiv Yar in the Kramatorsk sector.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, the enemy made 15 attempts to advance near Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka, Kleban-Byk, Rusyn Yar, Sofiivka and towards Stepanivka.
The hottest situation remains in the Pokrovsk sector, where Ukrainian defenders repelled 33 enemy assaults near Novo Shakhove, Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Molodetske, Filiia and towards Shevchenko, Bilytske and Hryshyne.
Active fighting also continues in the Oleksandrivka and Huliaipole sectors. Near Zelenyi Hai and Nove Zaporizhzhia, the enemy attacked four times, while near Huliaipole, Varvarivka and Dobropillia, Russian forces launched 16 assaults.
In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian troops repelled two attacks near Stepnohirsk and Prymorske. In other areas of the front, including the Prydniprovske sector, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions.
It is recalled that over the past day, Ukrainian forces eliminated nearly a thousand Russian troops and the same number of UAVs.
Russian forces have also withdrawn from Oleksiivskyi Island due to active operations by Ukraine’s Defence Forces.
