Defense forces repelled 147 attacks and struck enemy command posts
Ukrainian defenders continue to repel the massive onslaught by Russian aggressors, having repelled 147 combat engagements across various sections of the front over the past 24 hours.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The enemy’s greatest activity was recorded in the Pokrovsk and Kostyantynivka sectors, where the enemy carried out dozens of assault operations.
Over the past 24 hours, the invaders used a record number of weapons, including over 9,000 kamikaze drones and nearly 4,000 shelling attacks on our troops’ positions.
Enemy aircraft dropped 237 guided bombs, targeting populated areas in the Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions.
The Defense Forces’ aviation delivered a fitting response, delivering precision strikes on three areas where the occupiers’ personnel were concentrated.
In addition, Ukrainian pilots successfully struck an enemy drone control center, significantly reducing the coordination of enemy attacks.
The situation in the Pokrovsk direction remains tense: our troops repelled 31 assaults in the areas of Pokrovsk, Myrnohrad, and surrounding villages.
The courage of Ukrainian infantrymen prevented a breakthrough of the defense line and stabilized the situation in this critical sector.
The Kostiantynivka sector also became the scene of fierce fighting, where the aggressor carried out 26 attacks near Pleshchiivka, Stepanivka, and other settlements.
Thanks to the coordinated actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine units, all enemy attempts to advance were detected in time and repelled by fire.
In the Kupiansk and Lyman sectors, 17 attacks were recorded, during which the occupiers attempted to breach our defenses.
However, the defenders held their positions near Petropavlivka and Cherneshchyna, inflicting significant losses on the enemy in terms of manpower and equipment.
Despite significant pressure in the east, no active enemy assaults have been recorded in the Dnipro direction.
The situation in the Volyn and Polissya sectors also remains under control; no signs of the aggressor forming new offensive groups have been detected so far.
As a reminder, in the Zaporizhzhia region, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled a Russian mechanized assault and destroyed enemy equipment.
Additionally, the Armed Forces of Ukraine’s counterattacks are forcing Russia to change its offensive plans.
