Ukrainian defense forces carried out a successful counteroffensive operation in the Kupiansk district of Kharkiv Oblast, pushing Russian troops north of the village of Ambarne.
Thanks to the decisive actions of the defenders, control was regained over an area of more than three kilometers in the direction of the state border.
According to data from the DeepState analytical platform, Ukrainian troops have regained control of a strategically important forest area.
This territory is located in the Velykoburlutsk community, which had long been under pressure from enemy units.
“The Ukrainian Defense Forces have regained control near Ambarne,” analysts officially confirmed.

The successful advance significantly improved the tactical position of Ukrainian units in this sector of the front.
The operation to destroy the enemy and clear the forests was carried out by units of the 129th Separate Heavy Mechanized Brigade. The troops acted professionally, which allowed them to minimize risks and achieve their objective in a short time.
In addition to liberating the forest area, Ukrainian defenders managed to halt the Russians’ active advance in adjacent sectors.
In particular, the enemy’s path was blocked as they attempted to move from the village of Milove toward the settlement of Khatne.
Russian occupation forces are forced to switch to a defensive posture in areas where they had previously attempted to advance.
As a reminder, the Defense Forces destroyed the Russian Spirit-030 satellite communications terminal for the first time.
The Russians replacedStarlink with an alternative that is more visible to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Additionally, the blocking of Starlink and restrictions on Telegram have created problems for Russian forces, according to Estonian intelligence.
The Russian command has acknowledged the mass shutdown of Starlink terminals for the first time.
