Defense forces have brought all logistics routes around Donetsk under fire control
Ukrainian defenders have established full control over key logistical routes used by Russian occupation forces in the area around the temporarily occupied city of Donetsk.
This was officially reported by the command of the 1st Corps of the Ukrainian National Guard “Azov.”
Now, all military facilities and equipment of the invaders moving along these routes are in the crosshairs and will be swiftly destroyed.
Pilots of the Defense Forces’ strike drones have launched a large-scale hunt for enemy logistics in the far operational zone.
Thanks to the high effectiveness of unmanned aerial systems, the Ukrainian military keeps all strategically important roads supplying the enemy’s Donetsk group under constant surveillance and fire.
“Zuhres, Andriivka, Starobesheve, Horlivka, Lysychansk, Donetsk Ring Road—the active operation of UAVs on these routes demonstrates the ineffectiveness of the Russian airspace control system,” the military statement emphasizes.
This confirms that Russian air defense and electronic warfare systems are unable to protect their own supply convoys from strikes by Ukrainian drones.
Until recently, Russian occupiers felt relatively safe in this area, believing their rear logistics to be secure.
However, a change in the Defense Forces’ tactics and the introduction of a new model of warfare with an emphasis on high-tech capabilities have radically altered the situation.
From now on, any military target appearing on the roads near Donetsk becomes a priority target.
Ukrainian defenders emphasize that for the enemy, the concept of a “secure rear” no longer exists.
Systematic operations deep behind enemy lines allow for the disruption of ammunition, fuel, and manpower supplies, which critically impacts the combat effectiveness of the Russian Federation’s frontline units.
“It is impossible to hide and take cover,” the Azov fighters conclude.
