Defense forces repelled 153 enemy attacks on key sectors of the front
Over the past 24 hours, 153 combat engagements with Russian occupiers were recorded along the front line, with the enemy’s main offensive concentrated in the Pokrovsk direction.
This was reported by the General Staff.
Defense forces continue to hold back the invaders’ advance, demonstrating resilience at the hottest points of contact.
In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk sectors, the situation remains tense due to constant shelling.
Over the past day, the enemy carried out three airstrikes, dropped five guided bombs, and fired 116 rounds at our troops’ positions.
In particular, one enemy assault was recorded in this sector.
In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the aggressor attempted four times to break through the defensive lines of Ukrainian defenders in the areas of the settlements of "Starytsia, Vovchansk, and Vovchanski Khutory."
In the Kupiansk direction, enemy activity was somewhat lower, though two attacks toward Novoplatonivka were recorded. Ukrainian units detected the movement of enemy equipment and personnel in time, stopping them at the approaches.
In the Lyman direction, the situation was more complex—the enemy attempted to breach Ukrainian defenses five times.
The attacks took place in the direction of the settlements of “Shiykivka, Novosergiivka, and Lyman,” but the invaders were unsuccessful.
Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled four attempts by the occupiers to advance in the Zakytne area and toward Rai-Oleksandrivka. These actions helped stabilize the front line in the Sloviansk direction.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the invaders also attacked four times in the areas of the settlements of "Minkivka, Nykyforivka" and toward Tykhonivka and Fedorivka.
The enemy continues to use small-group tactics, attempting to find weak spots in our defenses.
The most intense fighting is taking place in the Pokrovsk direction, where Ukrainian defenders repelled 36 assaults by the aggressor.
Fighting took place in the areas of the settlements of “Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Udachne, Hryshyne, Muravka, Novomykolaivka, Molodetske, Filiya,” and others.
The enemy was no less active in the Kostyantynivka sector, carrying out 14 attacks near the settlements of Kostyantynivka, Pleshchiivka, and Sofiivka.
Defense forces are taking all necessary measures to hold their positions and inflict maximum losses on the enemy.
In the Huliaipole sector, the occupiers carried out 12 attacks, particularly in the areas of Huliaipole and Zaliznychne. In the Dnipro sector, the enemy conducted five futile assaults toward the Antonivsky Bridge.
In the Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs of enemy offensive groupings have been detected. The situation on the border with Belarus remains fully under the control of the Ukrainian military.
