Defense forces have neutralized more than a thousand invaders in the past 24 hours
Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have eliminated 1,070 Russian invaders.
Total enemy personnel losses since the start of the full-scale invasion have exceeded 1,311,000.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has released updated data on combat losses of Russian troops as of the morning of April 12, 2026.
According to the official report, Ukrainian defenders continue to effectively destroy both enemy personnel and equipment across the entire front line.
Particular attention is drawn to the high intensity of destruction of artillery systems and drones. Specifically, over the past 24 hours, the enemy lost 73 artillery units and over 2,000 tactical-level UAVs.
The total combat losses of the Russian invaders from February 24, 2022, to April 12, 2026, are estimated as follows: “personnel — approximately 1,311,180 (+1,070) individuals; tanks — 11,859 (+8) units; armored combat vehicles — 24,384 (+3) units; artillery systems — 39,871 (+73) units; MLRS — 1,727 (+1) units; air defense systems — 1,345 (+1) units; tactical-level UAVs — 233,866 (+2,081); vehicles and tankers — 88,914 (+216).
Significant losses were also recorded in the vehicle segment—Ukrainian forces disabled 216 tankers and special-purpose vehicles.
As a reminder, in the Sumy region, Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers captured a Belarusian mercenary serving in the Russian Federation’s army.
Additionally, a Ukrainian soldier spent two weeks in a dugout with an occupier and forced him to surrender.
