Special Operations Forces eliminated a group of occupiers in Donetsk region
Operators of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine conducted a successful operation in the Donetsk direction, resulting in the elimination of a group of Russian military personnel.
The Special Operations Forces Command reported on the successful operation, noting that thanks to coordinated and decisive actions, the 8th Separate Regiment named after Prince Izyaslav Mstislavich managed to regain control of an important position.
While carrying out their combat mission, Ukrainian special forces came into close contact with the enemy. The first clash ended instantly — one occupier was eliminated.
Two Russian soldiers attempted to flank the unit, but our fighters detected this attempt in advance and also destroyed the attackers.
Moving further, the special forces group neutralised another enemy. While checking the body of the dead Russian, a grenade exploded, which he had planted under himself in advance in an attempt to harm Ukrainian soldiers.
Thanks to the instant reaction of the SSO operators, none of our soldiers were injured.
In addition, the cover subgroup successfully eliminated another Russian soldier who was part of the enemy's reinforcement group.
