Sirsky and the Commander-in-Chief of the Estonian Armed Forces visited the Ukrainian Armed Forces in southeastern Ukraine
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi, together with Commander-in-Chief of the Estonian Defense Forces Andrus Merilo, made a working visit to the command posts of Ukrainian troops which are engaged in combat operations against Russian aggression in southeastern Ukraine.
According to the Commander-in-Chief, during the visit, the parties reviewed the current operational situation, the work of the units, and the key challenges faced by Ukrainian troops on a daily basis.
Syrsky held meetings with the leadership of the Airborne Assault Forces and the commanders of the airborne assault brigades. They discussed enemy actions in the area of responsibility, current threats, and ways to strengthen the capabilities of Ukrainian forces.
The military leadership also met with the command of the Unmanned Systems Forces and the commanders of assault regiments. Reports were heard on the operational situation, the support of units, and the results of combat missions.
Syrskyi emphasized that it is important for international partners to see the situation on the front lines firsthand, understand the needs of the Ukrainian military, and assess the effectiveness of the assistance provided on the ground.

Earlier, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi held a meeting with Lieutenant General Curtis Bazzard, commander of the NATO Special Assistance and Training Mission for Ukraine (NSATU) and the Security Assistance Group for Ukraine (SAG-U).
As a reminder, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi approved the Concept for the Development of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Missile Forces and Artillery, which outlines the key directions for the development of these branches of the military through 2030.
