The Russians struck Balakliya; one person was killed
On July 27, Russian troops launched an attack on the city of Balakliya in the Kharkiv region. One person was killed in the attack, and eight other residents were injured.
This was reported by Oleg Sinehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, and Vitaliy Karabanov, head of the Balakliya City Military Administration.
“According to preliminary information, one person was unfortunately killed as a result of the shelling. Our deepest condolences go out to the victim’s family and loved ones,” Sinehubov said.
Initially, the head of the Regional Military Administration reported four casualties, but the Balakliya City Military Administration later clarified that the number of injured had risen to eight.
“According to preliminary information, one person was killed as a result of the shelling, and eight others were wounded. Currently, all circumstances of the incident are being clarified, and the relevant services are working at the scene,” Karabanov said.
The injured are receiving the necessary medical care. Information regarding the type of weapon used by Russian forces in the attack and the consequences of the strike is being clarified.

As a reminder, a man was killed in Kherson by the explosion of a “Pelyustka” anti-personnel mine.
The Main Intelligence Directorate has identified those responsible for the shelling of the ATB supermarket in Chernihiv.
