The Telegram channel of Sobyanin, the mayor of the Russian capital, was hacked
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin’s personal Telegram channel was hacked on the evening of June 21.
Unknown individuals gained access to the channel and posted numerous messages in support of Ukraine.
The cyberattack on the Russian official’s verified page took place on his birthday.
Many of the channel’s subscribers noticed the appearance of dozens of identical messages containing appeals and accusations directed at the current Russian government.
In particular, the hackers published phrases such as: “Glory to Ukraine,” “Moscow will burn,” “Russian assholes, I donated specifically for drones,” and other similar statements.
The channel targeted in the hack was titled “Sergei Sobyanin. Personal Blog.” This online platform is one of two official information resources of the Moscow mayor on the Telegram messaging app.
The page was used to publish informal reports and greetings on behalf of the head of the aggressor country’s capital.
Russia Protected Its Fleet from Ukrainian Drones with Garden Netting
The day before, Ukrainian drones attacked the Russian ferry “Panagia,” which, according to Russian sources, was being used to transport military cargo from the Krasnodar Krai to the temporarily occupied Crimea.
On the night of Saturday, June 21, drones attacked the port in Kerch in the temporarily occupied Crimea and the “Kavkaz” port in the Krasnodar Krai of the Russian Federation, resulting in fires at the facilities.
In the Dnipro direction, particularly on the temporarily occupied left bank of the Kherson region, Russian troops are increasingly facing supply and logistics challenges. Ukrainian defense forces have intensified pressure on key supply routes, further complicating the movement and delivery of resources to the occupying forces.
