Downtown Kherson was left without power due to an attack by the Russian Federation

The central part of Kherson was left without power following a Russian attack on a critical infrastructure facility. 

According to the head of the regional military administration, Russian troops struck one of the city’s infrastructure facilities, causing power outages.

Russian forces attacked a critical infrastructure facility in Kherson, leaving the central part of the city without power,” Prokudin said.

Experts are currently assessing the extent of the damage and evaluating the consequences of the enemy strike.

No information has yet been released regarding possible casualties or the timeline for restoring power.

Russian troops continue to systematically attack critical infrastructure in the Kherson region, attempting to disrupt vital systems and create additional hardships for the civilian population.

This was reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, on Telegram.

On the afternoon of June 24, Russian forces launched a drone strike on Konotop in the Sumy region. Civilian infrastructure in the city center was targeted; at least two people are known to have been injured.

On the morning of Wednesday, June 24, Russian occupation forces carried out another terrorist attack, striking a gas station on the outskirts of Sumy with a drone. 

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine recorded 251 combat engagements over the past 24 hours.
