Turkey urges Russia and Ukraine not to drag the energy sector into the war
Turkey’s Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar called on Russia and Ukraine not to use energy infrastructure as a target in the war.

“I hope this terrible war will end. But today we also call on all parties — Russia and Ukraine — not to involve energy infrastructure in the war,” Bayraktar said.
He emphasized the need to ensure uninterrupted energy flows following a series of attacks near the Black Sea coast.
It should be recalled that two Russian “shadow” tankers sustained mysterious damage near the Turkish coast. These are the vessels Kairos and Virat.
Sea Baby naval drones struck the tankers KAIRO and VIRAT, which belong to Russia’s so-called “shadow fleet” and were used to circumvent international sanctions on oil transportation.
