Russian forces attacked 40 settlements in Zaporizhzhia

Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops have launched 911 strikes on 40 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. The occupiers used aircraft, artillery, and hundreds of drones, resulting in damage to residential buildings, vehicles, and infrastructure. This was reported on Telegram by Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.

 

Over the past 24 hours, the Zaporizhzhia region has once again endured one of the most massive attacks in recent times. The Russian army continues to exert pressure on the region and carries out daily shelling of both frontline settlements and communities located near the regional center.

According to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, the enemy carried out a total of 911 strikes on 40 settlements in the region. Zaporizhzhia, Orikhiv, Huliaipole, Stepnogorsk, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanilivka, Malokaterynivka, and many other towns and villages came under fire. The Russians carried out the largest number of attacks using drones. Over the past 24 hours, 639 strikes by various types of UAVs, primarily FPV drones, were recorded.

Zaporizhzhia, Stepnogorsk, Orikhiv, Huliaipole, Primorske, Pavlivka, Novoandriivka, Novodanilivka, Verkhnia Tersa, Vozdvyzhivka, Dobropillia, and other settlements in the region came under attack.

In addition, the occupiers carried out 21 airstrikes. Malokaterynivka, Orikhiv, Charivne, Tymoshivka, Novoselivka, Kopani, Yegorivka, Chervona Krynytsia, and a number of other settlements were hit by airstrikes. Alongside the drone and airstrikes, Russian troops actively used artillery.

According to the regional administration, 251 artillery strikes were recorded over the past 24 hours. Stepnogorsk, Orikhiv, Huliaipole, Novodanilivka, Mala Tokmachka, Primorske, Pavlivka, Vozdvyzhivka, Dobropillia, and other communities came under fire.

According to Ivan Fedorov, 96 official reports of damage were received in just one day. The final extent of the damage is still being determined, as special services continue to work at the sites of the strikes. Utility workers, rescue teams, and local officials are working to address the aftermath of the shelling, assisting residents, and documenting the damage for future reconstruction.
