Russia has lost more than 1,400 troops in the past 24 hours
Over the past 24 hours, the Russian army has lost another 1,430 troops in the war against Ukraine. Ukrainian defenders have also destroyed dozens of artillery systems, hundreds of vehicles, and nearly 1,800 drones. These figures were released by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
As of May 30, 2026, the Russian army’s total combat losses since the start of the full-scale war amount to approximately 1,362,500 soldiers. In the past 24 hours alone, Russian troops lost another 1,430 personnel. In addition to manpower, the Russian army continues to lose a significant amount of weapons and equipment. According to the General Staff, Ukrainian forces destroyed two tanks, seven armored combat vehicles, and 70 artillery systems over the past day.
The enemy also lost five multiple-launch rocket systems and one air defense system. This indicates that Ukrainian forces continue to successfully strike not only the enemy’s frontline units but also its key fire support assets.

The loss of drones remains particularly significant for the Russian army. Over the past 24 hours, 1,781 tactical-level UAVs were destroyed. Ukrainian forces also eliminated six cruise missiles and four ground-based robotic systems, which Russia actively uses on the front lines.
Since the start of the full-scale war, Russia’s total losses of drones have already exceeded 318,000 units. This is one of the highest figures among all categories of military equipment. In total, since the start of the invasion, Russia has lost:
- 11,960 tanks;
- 24,643 armored combat vehicles;
- 42,930 artillery systems;
- 1,813 multiple launch rocket systems;
- 1,398 air defense systems;
- 436 aircraft;
- 353 helicopters;
- 33 ships and boats;
- 100,713 vehicles and tankers;
- 4,231 units of specialized equipment.
In the past 24 hours alone, Ukrainian defenders destroyed 483 vehicles and tankers, which was one of the highest figures among all categories of enemy losses.
The General Staff emphasizes that the data continues to be refined. At the same time, even preliminary statistics show that the Russian army is suffering significant daily losses in both manpower and equipment across all sectors of the front.
Over the past 24 hours, 267 battles took place on the front lines, with the fiercest fighting continuing in the Pokrovsk direction
The Ukrainian military has released updated data on Russian army losses. According to the General Staff, Russian troops lost 960 personnel over the past 24 hours. Total Russian losses since the start of the full-scale invasion, according to Ukrainian estimates, have exceeded 1.36 million troops.
