RDK fighter Tymofii Anufriiev killed in battles for Ukraine

In Ukraine, Tymofii Anufriiev, a fighter of the Russian Volunteer Corps (RDK) known by the call sign Enei, was killed. He was the son of Odesa-based conceptual artist Serhii Anufriiev, the RDK press centre reports.

Tymofii was born in Moscow, grew up in Odesa and held Russian citizenship. He studied at the Faculty of Philosophy in Saint Petersburg but left Russia due to his opposition to the war and joined the RDK, where he served as an assault trooper and took part in combat operations.

The fighter was awarded the medal “For Assistance to the Military Intelligence of Ukraine”. His comrades describe him as an educated, open and kind person who sought to be useful not only on the front line but also beyond it.

Anufriiev explained his decision to go to the front by saying that war is a state a man must experience in order to become a personality. The RDK noted that he went through his entire combat path in the most dangerous role of an assault trooper, participated in numerous operations, carried out assaults, cleared positions and took prisoners.

Tymofii’s father, Serhii Anufriiev, lives in Odesa. In March 2025, 21-year-old Enei became the subject of a video by The Insider.
