There are casualties in Chernihiv following a drone strike on a business
On June 5, Russian drones attacked Chernihiv; at least two strikes were recorded within the city limits. Three people were injured as a result of a strike on one of the businesses. Details regarding the consequences of the attack are still being confirmed.
"On the afternoon of June 5, the Russian Armed Forces attacked Chernihiv with drones. Currently, two strike sites are known. The first is on the premises of a private enterprise in the northern part of the city. Preliminary reports indicate that three people were injured. Another strike was recorded in the western part of Chernihiv. A fire broke out at the site of the strike," the press service reported.
According to Dmytro Bryzhynskyi, head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, a "Shahed" drone strike on a parking lot was also recorded.
Later, Bryzhynskyi reported that as of 12:08 p.m., the number of people injured as a result of the Russian attack on the enterprise in Chernihiv had risen to six.
"All the injured have been taken to the hospital. They are receiving the necessary medical care," he wrote.
It is also known that, preliminarily, 23 cars were damaged as a result of the strike on the parking lot.
As of 12:21 p.m., the number of damaged cars had risen to 37, according to the head of the Chernihiv City Council.

In the Zhytomyr region, infrastructure facilities and private homes were damaged as a result of another attack by Russian drones. Enemy drones struck the region, causing destruction to civilian facilities. Relevant services are working on the ground to assess the consequences of the attack and repair the damage. Information regarding the extent of the destruction and possible casualties is being clarified.
In the Odesa region, a critical infrastructure facility was damaged by a drone attack.
In the Kyiv region, efforts are underway to extinguish a large-scale fire at an industrial facility caused by a nighttime attack by Russian drones. Units of the State Emergency Service are involved in the firefighting, and cleanup operations are ongoing.
On the night of June 4, Russian forces carried out a massive air attack using a ballistic missile and 293 drones of various types. Ukraine’s air defense forces destroyed or intercepted 264 aerial targets.
