In Dobropillya, Donetsk Oblast, soldiers from the 15th Brigade “Kara-Dag” of the 1st Corps of the National Guard “Azov” rescued a 90-year-old local woman and her family after a Russian aerial bomb struck a residential building.
During another round of shelling, Lidiya Hryhorivna was in the basement of a high-rise building with her family. At that moment, a Russian aerial bomb struck the building, burying people under debris.
Soldiers carrying out a mission nearby discovered the victims under the rubble and began a rescue operation. The soldiers freed the people, provided first aid to the elderly woman, and evacuated her in an armored vehicle to a safe location.
After the evacuation, the 90-year-old resident of Dobropillia was handed over to medical personnel for further examination and treatment.
Russian troops continue to shell the Donetsk region. Over the past day, seven civilians were wounded in the region. Authorities emphasize that the number of war casualties in the region continues to rise almost daily.
Mykolaiv was again attacked by Russian drones, which struck the city and the region. An administrative building was damaged as a result of the shelling, but there were no casualties. The enemy also repeatedly attacked communities in the region with FPV drones and artillery.
