Over 35,000 private homes destroyed in Kherson region
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, more than 35,600 private homes and over 1,600 apartment buildings in Kherson region communities have been damaged or destroyed.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, according to "Vgoru" media.
He stated that emergency services respond quickly after attacks: since the start of the war, they have repaired over 105,000 windows and doors and restored 110,000 square meters of roofing.
“Those affected are offered accommodation in shelters or modular towns. The ‘yeVidnovlennya’ program continues in the region: over 7,700 families have already received compensation totaling more than ₴3.8 billion,” Prokudin said.
On the morning of December 7, Russian forces attacked the Central District of Kherson with a drone, injuring two people.
