Warehouses in Kyiv's Darnytskyi District Are on Fire Following an Attack
On the evening of June 25, Kyiv came under another Russian attack, which caused a fire in a warehouse in the Darnytskyi district, while some rocket debris fell in an open area without causing any further damage. Air defense forces were deployed in the city; efforts to extinguish the fire and inspect potential debris impact sites are currently underway.
Russian troops attacked Kyiv on the evening of June 25, causing explosions to be heard in the city once again, and air defense forces were deployed to repel the strike, according to Mayor Vitali Klitschko and city officials. Following the air raid alert, which began at 8:52 p.m., rocket debris was reported to have fallen in an open area of the Darnytskyi district in the capital, causing no damage and resulting in no casualties; however, the scene is being further inspected, as other locations cannot be ruled out.

At the same time, in the same district, the attack caused a fire in warehouse buildings, and emergency services are on the scene working to contain and extinguish the blaze. Timur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, noted that no reports of casualties have been received so far, adding that “there will likely be more locations,” as the search of the area continues.

The air raid alert in Kyiv was lifted at 9:38 p.m., but rescue operations in the Darnytskyi district are continuing, according to Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
